August Birthday

This is the card I am using for the August birthday girls at work....The stamp set is Birthday Best from stampin' up and is a retired set...it is very...very cute....it is a four piece set that includes a sentiment, a cupcake, a flower, and a balloon. I only had to make two and they both took me less than fifteen minutes to make...now this was really a quick card.

I used Only Orange card stock, Very Vanilla, Yo Yo Yellow, Pretty In Pink, Green Galore, and Brilliant Blue.
The striped paper is from Micheal's.
I used Basic Black ink to stamp the images...then coloured them in with Creamy Caramel, Only Orange, Pixie Pink, and Bashful Blue chalks.

Thanks everyone...have a stampin' good day.

Lisa's Girls Scrapbook

One of the ladies at work had lots of pics of her girls and asked me to put them in a scrapbook for her...she has three beautiful girls and this is a few of the pages I came up with.

Her three beautiful girls.

A page that has daddy and mommy sharing time with the girls.

The girls love to play dress up.

Sisters.

Like mother...like daughters.

The littlest sister.

Summer down by the sea.

This sisters love and favorite past time are horses.

Gymnast and talented piano player.

Ava loves to dance.

School play.

A priceless photo op.

It's hard to capture the personalities of someone elses children when you don't know them...but it was so much fun doing this album...I hope she likes it...it took me about four days to put this together...I had to look for special little accessories like the horse stickers and somethings I just couldn't find...no horse papers...no dance stickers or papers to be found anywhere...but I am pleased with how this turned out.

Thanks for checking in on this post...have a stampin' good evening.

This could be a cute little Birthday card...but for me...it is a Happy to be back card...so simple...but so cute...and so! so! quick.

I used the Polka Dots and Paisley stamp set.

Card stock used was the Whisper White, Orchid Opulence, Vintage Violet, and Marvelous Magenta...Inks that were used are Vintage Violet, Marvelous Magenta. The word" Happy " was stamped using moonlight light white ink from Brilliance.I used my Large and Small Rectangle punch for the tag...my sizzix made the Bookplate...and I used the Vintage Violet stitched ribbon...the brads are from Michaels.

The Vintage Violet used is from the In Colour Collection of last years Stampin' Up.

Back From Vacation

Carol and I are back from our vacations...we will be getting back to work this weekend...we will be stampin' and making some new projects that will start posting again on Monday.

We didn't go away to any exotic islands to enjoy exotic drinks...we didn't tour Europe and eat at all the gourmet restaurants over there...and we didn't go shopping the runways of Italy, Milan, or Paris for designer clothes or Jewelry.

Carol did some remodeling on her house and helped her daughter move...and I did some serious retail therapy and spent some wonderful time with my daughter and son-in-law down in the city...a couple of dinners out...a day of beauty at the spa...and a movie night out..."Rush Hour 3"...was hilarious...we had fun...fun...fun...so now that the party is over...it's time to get back to work...we are refreshed and ready to stamp...LOL...our creative juices are flowing again.

Have a stampin' good evening.

Mini Notebook Thank You

I wanted to send a thank you card to a friend...but i wanted it to be a little something more also...I love doing the mini notebooks...they are quick and easy to do...so I combined the mini notebook as a thank you card.

The stamp sets I used are Totally Tabs and Tagger's Dozen...The card stock used is Wild Wasabi, Garden Green, Whisper White, and Creamy Caramel...I used the Spritzer Tool with my Old Olive marker to spritz my paper and card stock...the plaid ribbon is Moss...supplies are from stampin' up...the triangle paperclip is from staples...the stripped ribbon, paper flower, and floral brad is from Michael's.

On the inside I will write a personal sentiment for her and the rest of the pages she will be able to use for her notes and reminders to herself...which I used my Dymo Label to do.

This little thank you card/notebook measures 4 1/2 X 3...small in size...but packs a big punch.

Have a Stampin' Good Day everyone.

Creative License ClipBoard

I loved doing this project...it was so much fun, fun, fun...I used the Creative License scraping kit from the level 1 hostess gifts from Stampin' Up...and it was perfect for altering this cute clipboard from Michael's....This scrappin' kit has enough papers, stickers, and card stock to do several projects...I know that I will be using it again.

I used the back of the clipboard for the front since it was going to be covered anyway...and the nice smooth white side...I used for the back...and placed my little card stock handmade sticker.

The colours in this scrappin' kit are absolutely beautiful...and go so perfectly together...Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi, Blue Bayou, and Soft Sky...I used my Old Olive ink pad to stamp the letter "B"...using Headline Alphabets...then I cut it out...and put it on the Old Olive card stock and printed paper...the seams from the paper I covered with ribbons...Vintage Violet (retired...from stampin' up) and a stitched orange from Joannes Fabrics...once that was completed I added the card stock stickers to make my clipboard unique.

I am telling you...this was sooooooooooo!!!!...easy...I couldn't believe it myself...I want to do more of them.
Have a great day and a stampin' good time...HUGS.

Mini Scrap Journal

I picked up this cute little scrap book at targets this morning...and it took me no time at all to put together...everything comes in the kit...a little book, papers, brads, and flowers...I purchased two other little kits so that I had extra pretties to add...I will be making them for our Fall open house door prizes when we restart classes again in September.
*************************************************************************************
The front of the little book has a butterfly and a flower...I covered it with the green, blue, and brown stripped paper from the kit...I then added a brown ribbon from Micheals to tie the book closed.
**************************************************************************************
The back is covered with a matching polka dot print in the same green, blue, and brown colours.
Inside can be used for journaling or a few small photos would fit nicely into it.
This little notebook only measures 4X4...a real cutie.
Have a great day everyone...stay cool...it's a HOT...HOT...HOT one today.
Thanks for stopping by...and have a stampin' good day.

It's Here...It's Here!!!

The new Fall/Winter Mini Catty is here....whooppppppiii!!!.....I already have my favorites lined up...these are going to make some really fun winter cards and projects.

I really...really...really...love the SUPERSIZE Snow Flake...and the matching JUMBO roller Snow....these are a definite must have for my stash.

I am also in love with the Tags On Board...the swirls on the big tag remind me when the wind blows and the soft feathery snow whips around my feet.

What can I say about the new Accent and Elements???...on my list you go...also Tags For All...should be called tags for Beverley...LOL...your mine.

Stephanie's Memory Album

Stephanie wanted her Memory Album to highlight some of the wonderful vacations she has spent with her family.
Yes...as you can see this young lady enjoys spending time with her mom scrap booking...and I must say she did a wonderful job on her memory album...she was very original in her work and lots of thought went into each of her pages...This page came out a little blurry and they had already left so I was unable to retake it...I will try and get another and replace it.

As you can see she used some stampin' up stamps to explain this page.

Enjoying this vacation with her family.

More fun times with her family...and enjoying dinner out.

Having fun in a Williamsburg candle shop...making and buying some wonderful smelling candles.

Family fun...enjoying all the fun props on yet another wonderful family vacation.

Stephanie did a wonderful job making this memory album unique and all her own..she will cherish these family vacations for many years to come...great work...You guys seem to have so much fun on your vacations...I want to come on your next one.

I hope everyone has a great evening...time for bed because i can't keep my eyes open another second.
