Kisses

Yummo...who doesn't like chocolate and who said "life's like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're going to get"...but with this little tin pail full of chocolates you know exactly what you're getting...kisses...kisses...kisses...and more kisses.
This little pail measures approximately 4 inches high (not including the handle) and 4 inches across...just the right size to fill with your favorite chocolates...I even blinged the letters "KISSES"...which was a very messy job with bright red glitter...there has to be another way to do that, which wouldn't be so messy.

This is the quick recipe:
Card Stock: Regal Rose and Pixie Pink from Stampin' Up.

Additional Supplies: Xyron...Sakura glitter pink pen...Valentine Red ultra fine opaque glitter from the Art Institute...Red, Tea rose , and Pink Plaid ribbons form Joannes...Sizzix lower case alphabet dies...Red metal primitive heart from my stash...and Little red tin bucket from Target.

As you can see there was no stampin' involved in this quick project...the only thing though was the glittering of the letters was a bit messy...but it was fun and quick...and stayed with our "KISS" theme...Keep It Simple Silly...LOL (it makes me laugh every time I say that) and when the stampin' ladies are around and we say KISS...we throw kisses in the air...anyway you could make lots of these cute buckets for your favorite sweetie.

Thanks for stopping by today...the wind is very strong so stay safe...everything is blowing around out side...have a stampin' good day and a cup of hot chocolate to keep you warm.

Look what I did again...

Oops...I did it again...and I Luv...Luv...Luv it as much as I did the first time I did it...LOL...and it is great. I got Many Happy Returns...which is a 3 piece set and turned it into a 33 piece set...how cool is that...LUV it...I used some more of those little wood blocks from my local dollar shop and again it worked great.

There is quite a few that can be used for Valentines day...the sentiment "Tickled Pink" had to be put on the larger side of the wood block, because it is a lot wider than the rest of the other pieces...but even that wasn't a problem because it stopped the rest of the stamps from falling over...so it actually worked out great...no shifting of the stamps in the box.

If you can see in the pics...I tried to show you how much wider the "Tickled Pink is...thanks for stopping by today...I have a class tonight and have to finish up my projects...it's going to be a cold one today...so stay warm and toasty.

Have a stampin' good day...Luv ya' all.

From The Heart Sweet Treats

I love these little red heart shaped tins...they're sooooooooooo darn cute...they were my project that I did for the stampin' good time ladies on Sunday....and I think they loved them too...and they're a nice size...approximately 2X3...and can hold a big handful of sweet treats for your sweetie...or you...LOL.

Since the tin was already a nice bright red...I didn't have to do much work...and this keeps with our theme for this month...KISS...Keep It Simple Silly.

This is my simple recipe:

Additional supplies: snail adhesive...key tag punch...pink double sided ribbon purchased at Joannes...red heart tin purchased at Michael's...hearts sizzix die...and country heart punch from EK Success.
********************
All supplies from Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted.

You only have to layer the different size hearts and put the ribbon around the outside of the tin...I also put a piece of ribbon under the hearts...then fill with your favorite sweets...we filled ours with cherry cordial hugs, chocolate and vanilla hugs...how sweet was that...YUMMO...I also added the little punch tag inside with my sentiment "From the heart".

We had a great time making these tins and the stampin' good time ladies were so proud of themselves...I think they'll go home and make more...I sure feel like it...I hope Micheal's still have some left over.
Thanks everyone for stopping by this morning...we are expecting snow later this afternoon...so grab yourselves a hot cup of tea and have a stampin' good time.

Love Chipboard Card

I luv...luv...luv how this little chipboard card turned out...it was a fun project...even though it took a little bit of time to do it...actually...it took me all day...LOL...but once I knew what I wanted to do I rolled along pretty quickly.

I decided to use the rubbons again from Royal Langnickle...it wasn't as hard to rub it onto the card stock as it was the glass that I had used earlier this week...they do have very pretty rubbons.

I changed my mind and added some pink glitter to the "L"...it gave the page a little bling that I luv soooooooooo!!! much.

This is the long recipe:
Stamps: Wonderful Words...For a Friend (level 1 hostess)...Bitty Bolds (retired).
********************
Card Stock: Purely Pomegranate...Wild Wasabi...Pretty in Pink...Very Vanilla...and Berry Bliss DSP.
********************
Inks: Purely Pomegranate and Wild Wasabi.
********************
Punches: Corner Punch...Ticket Corner Punch...1/16 Circle hand punch...Country Heart punch from EK Success...Bind-it-all...and Sizzix large tag die.
********************
Ribbons: Real Red grosgrain...Wild Wasabi double stitch...Lime Green plaid...and Pink Plaid.
********************
Additional Supplies: Snail Adhesive...Rose Red and Regal Rose markers...4X4 Heavy Chipboard squares... Sakura Pink and Green Glitter pens...Xyron machine...Score-it-board...Bringing Love glitter rubbons from Royal Langnickle...Quick dry tacky adhesive...Stickles Pink Glitter purchased from Gina K Designs...and Red Heart brads purchased from Michael's.
********************
All supplies from Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted.

I think that my stampin' ladies would love to make this also...I might just make this a class for them too...the chipboard is great to work with and I have tons of it since I had to order so much...maybe I will be doing a lot more projects with it.
********************
I forgot to mention that after I covered the chipboard...I didn't like the white that was showing around the edges so I used my Rose Red marker and went around the edges...it soaked into the chipboard and blended in nicely with the card stock.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Have a stampin' good day.

Valentine Chocolate Kisses Jar

I wish that I had more of these cute little honey bottles...they have a nice shape and hold a good amount of chocolate goodies in them...I have this one filled with chocolate kisses...but the opening is large enough that you could anything into the jar.

This is the quick recipe:
Card stock: Real red and pattern paper are both from my scrap stash.

Additional Supplies: Scalloped punch...Sizzix large circle die...snail adhesive...Bringing love glitter rubbons from Royal and Langnickle...and Pink double stitch ribbon.

This jar took me about fifteen minutes to complete...I would have finished sooner if the rubbons didn't give me a hard time...I had a lot of trouble with them...I had to rub so hard that my wrist and fingers hurt...the Royal and Langnickel rubbons seem to have a thicker backing on it than other rubbons...which made it very hard to rub onto a surface...I will try it on something else and see if I have the same problem...their website had a lot of other cute rubbons and a lot of them with glitter...I love that bling.

Thank you for stopping by this freezin' cold morning...I am off to see what else I can use these rubbons onto.
Have a stampin' good day and stay warm.

Mini Note Holders

Our theme for the month of January is "KISS"...Keep It Simple Silly.

And that is just what I did with these mini binder clips for our class on Sunday...I kept it simple...these little binder clips took about a minute each to make and no stampin' was involved.

I purchased the binder clips at Staples...card stock was Creative License DSP (retired from Stampin' Up) and scrap papers from my stash...Blue bayou double stitch ribbon from stampin' up...yellow and green ribbons are from my scrap ribbon stash...we used mini punches to make the little hearts...mittens...and gingerbread man.

The ladies had a great time making these...they were super quick and easy...a great way to use up small pieces of scraps.
