Yvonne's Baby Card

This is a super quick post to share a card that one of the good time stampin' ladies made for a child...she did an excellent job on it...the colours are bright and cheerful...and it is so...so..cute.

Sorry...but I don't know the name of the papers and supplies...but I know the cute animals are from the sizzix dies.

My allergies have gotten the best of me...so I am off to bed to try and fight off the horrible headache I have from the constant sneezing.

Thanks for stopping by...I hope everyone has a stampin' good evening...and an extra special TFS with us Yvonne...I loved it.

Happy Mothers day

Here is another card I made using the "So Much" stamp set...I love that set...they were quick...easy...and fun to make...these are the two cards I made for today.

Here's the recipe:
Stamps: so much...and happy mothers day from Limited edition rubber stamp company.

Card stock: whisper white...pretty in pink...and grey blue from ACMoore...cream printer paper from staples.

Additional supplies: snail adhesive...stampin' dimensionals...pink plaid ribbon...blue bayou double stitch ribbon...ticket corner punch...scallop punch...double rectangle punch...assorted colour rhinstones...and crystal effects.

All supplies are from Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted.

Inside both cards I used the circles from the stamps on the printer paper as a background...I used pretty in pink since it was light enough not to interfere with any writing I would do.

Thanks for stopping by this morning...the weather is cold...windy...and rainy...I think I'm going to have a nice cup of hot tea and get under my comforters...I'm working on a project that I hope to start posting on Saturday...and it will run for about five days...I hope that I can get them done this week so I can start to post them.
Have a stampin' good day...thanks again for sharing the morning with me.

Bev's Altered Tall Journal

A couple of weeks ago we had a journal class and this is my journal that I made for the stampin' good time ladies...and gentlemen to case.

On the cover of mine I chose to put my initials using the sizzix alphabet die....there's lots of circles...stickles glitter...shiny baubles...and very pretty ribbons on the binding.

Inside on the first page I have a circular paper clip...blue tab...with more pretty ribbons...and an inspirational sentiment.

This page shows a single flower stamped on whisper white card stock...and a magenta tab.

This page shows another inspirational sentiment and a light blue tab.

This page has a blue flower stamped on very vanilla card stock...backed with green galore...and really rust tab.

Another sentiment for the day...and pink tab.

One last flower...and a tempting turquoise tab for this page.

This last page is going all green...maybe for "Earth Day"...very vanilla card stock is stamped with an inspirational sentiment in gabled green...backed with glorious green...the tab on the page is also glorious green.

On the back cover...I punched out some cute little country hearts form the scraps...and stamped "when you care enough...you make it yourself".

My finished journal...is cute and whimsical...I will have fun writing in it...every one's journal was unique...and we were all happy with our creations.

All supplies are from Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted.
Hope you enjoyed looking at my journal...I had a great time creating it...thanks for stopping by...and have a super stampin' good day.

Keep In Touch

Some mornings things just don't work right...my allergies are acting up terribly this morning...I took some allergy medicine and it's making me soooooooo!!! sleepy...I can barely function...on top of all that...I just can't seem to get my pics to come out as nice as they look in real life...I'm the worlds WORST picture taker (BOO...HOO)...sorry for the quality of them...but I do like how the cards turned out...and I wish you could see them clearer.

I don't usually cut the flowers in my garden due to my allergies...but I figured that since I'm sneezing...coughing...eyes tearing up...and I have a wicked runny nose...I might as well cut these and bring them in...I love Daffodils and Sunflowers and they looked so pretty I thought they would cheer me up...and since they looked so pretty I decided to make the yellow colour the inspiration for these two cards.

Supplies
Stamps: Just a note from MSE.

Card stock: summer sun...apricot appeal...and wild wasabi from the prints pack (a level one gift).

Inks: wild wasabi.

Additional supplies: Traffic Jam from Cuttlebug folder...green brads...snail adhesive...ticket corner punch...silver circle paper clip ( I think from staples, I don't remember)...wild wasabi double stitch ribbon...orange ribbon from Joannes...yellow plaid ribbon from Michael's...1/4 inch circle hand punch...crystal effects...clear mini acrylic discs from Michael's...green paper flower from ACMoore...amber round rhinestone from Joannes...and green paper clip.

All supplies are from Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted.

I love how these cards turned out and the colour combo maybe a bit bright but I'm sure they would cheer anyone up.

I apologize for ranting and raving...it must be the allergy medicine...and another apology for the poor picture quality...I really do wish that I could take better pictures.

Thanks for stopping by...and have a stampin' good day.

Pecans In The Cemetary

On the outskirts of a small town, there was a big, old Pecan tree just inside the cemetery fence...one day, two small boys filled up a bucketful of nuts and sat down by the tree, out of sight, and began to divide the nuts.

"One for you...and one for me...one for you...and one for me", said one boy...several dropped and rolled down toward the fence.

Another boy came riding along the road on his bicycle...as he passed ...he thought he heard voices from inside the cemetery. He slowed down to investigate. Sure enough he heard, "one for you...and one for me....one for you...and one for me...one for you ....and one for me".

He just knew what it was. He jumped back on his bike and rode off. Just around the bend...he met an old man with a cane hobbling along.

"Come here quick, said the boy...you won't believe what I heard...Satan and the Lord are down at the cemetery dividing up the Souls".

The man said, "beat it kid...can't you see it's hard for me to walk"...when the boy insisted the old man hobbled slowly with the boy to the cemetery.

Standing by the fence at the bottom of the cemetery...they heard..."one for you...and one for me...one for you...and one for me".

The old man whispered "boy...you've been telling me the truth"..."Lets see if we can see the Lord".

Shaking with fear, they peered through the fence, yet was still unable to see anything. The old man and the boy gripped the wrought iron bars of the fence tighter and tighter...as they tried too get a glimpse of the Lord.

At last they heard..."one for you...and one for me"..."That's all...Now lets get those nuts down by the fence and we will be all done".

They say the old man made it back into town a full five minutes before the kid on the bike.

LOL...LOL...LOL...

This came from Tina over at "stampitchick"...I had to share it...thanks Tina for a big laugh this morning...I loved it.

Thanks for stopping by this morning...hope you got a good laugh out of this as I did...enjoy this beautiful weather and have a stampin' good day.

Altered Heartfelt Journal

This heart journal is the inspiration for the altered journal that the stampin' good time ladies did in class last weekend...it was my very first altered tall journal and I love how it turned out...everything used to make it was either scraps...or odds and ends that I had laying around in my stash...it would be very easy for you to make something very similar using whatever you have on hand...I must say though since I wasn't sure where I was going with this...it did take me all weekend to make...but I enjoyed making it...It was actually a very fun and soothing weekend.

On the cover is lots of little goodies that I had on hand...a clear glass rock...sentiment twill with "love much" printed on it...heard brad...heart buttons...punched out hearts...gold cording...stamped sentiment "love" and stamped snow family...all my fav things...oval keyhole anchor with a brad...along the binding is lots of ribbon pieces that I was able to use up from my ribbon stash.

On the inside cover I have a rubbon sentiment...stamped sentiment... and stamped image of a heart...assorted scrap papers were used...a circle paper clip with scrap ribbons complete this page.

This indexed page has a stamped sentiment...I used scrap card stock.

This indexed page is a stamped floral...and more scrap card stock.

Another indexed page with a stamped sentiment...and more scraps.

This page is also stamped with another floral image...and scraps.

Another stamped sentiment is on this indexed page.

Another stamped image of a floral.

This last indexed page has another stamped sentiment...the tabbed indexes were used from scrap card stocks.

This is the back of my journal...just as pretty as the rest of the pages and the cover...this will be a cheerful place to write notes or messages to my self.
Thanks everyone for stopping by and sharing this project with me this morning...have a stampin' good day.
