School Days

Yvonne's September scrappin' good time project was this scrap page of her grand daughter...and I must say it turned out absolutely adorable.
I love how the page looks like it is on a black board...she used her spiral binding punch to leave her grand daughter a reminder note...or maybe it's a list of things for her to remember to take to school.

I like the look of the chalk numbers and alphabets that are raised around the edge of the page...an assortment of chip board stickers and rubons complete the look of this fun page.

Thanks Yvonne for sharing this September project with us...you did a fantastic job...I hope you made two pages, because your daughter is going to want to have one for herself...LOL...I love it...thanks everyone for dropping in and checking out Yvonnes's project...I hope you all have a stampin' good day.

I have a doctors appointment this morning so I better get going...I will stamp something later...thanks for droppin' in this morning...I hope you have a stampin' good day.

Thanks for your kindness-school bus

This is a gift that would keep on giving...you give a nice little set of these thank you cards...and the teacher could use them to thank someone for a gift or something that was done for her...I did a set of four, but you can do as many as you'd like...the set would also go great with the treat box I made last week.

This is the recipe:

Stamp sets: simply sayings 2 (retired)...and school bus from Rubber Stampede.
*****
Card stock: white...basic black...whisper white...summer sun...and white printer paper.
*****
Ink: basic black.
*****
Marker: stampin' write and sakura clear star glitter pen.
*****
Punches: sizzix photo corners.
*****
Additional supplies: snail...fiskar...spritzer tool...and red sizzix.

All supplies are from stampin' up unless otherwise noted.

Inside the card I used white printer paper...and I love the look that the photo corners give the card...two of them on each card was just enough...does the glitter show up on the wheels and head lights...the cards were spritzed with my more mustard marker.

Thanks for dropping in this morning...and taking a peek at my cards...guess who's crying...I've gotta go...LOL...I hope you all have a stampin' good day.

School Bus and Crayons treat box

I had made too many school buses...so I used the extra school bus to make this adorable little treat box...fill it with cookies to send for that special teacher...pair it up with the matching card I made earlier this week and you will have a very happy teacher.

This is the recipe:

Stamp sets: School(retired)...school bus from Rubber Stampede.

Bringing in the Harvest

I'm posting this late...I didn't get a chance to do much this morning...my grandson keeps me so busy...we did go for a stroll around town...next time I'll leave the dogs at home...I'm a super lousy dog walker when I have to also push a stroller too...LOL.

I discovered a .99 cent store...but around here a .99 cent store means the price ends in .99cents...not that everything in the store is .99 cents...in fact there wasn't a thing there for under $1.99...when I complained about this to my daughter she laughed...she thought the prices were great...oh! vie...I don't think they should call it The .99 cent store then...do you?

This is the recipe:

Stamp sets: happy fall, y'all...truck from PSX stamp company...and mini shadow from Hero Arts.
*****
Card stock: assorted scraps and white printer paper.
*****
Ink: basic brown.
*****
Markers: assorted stampin' write and red colour brush from Zig markers.
*****
Additional supplies: real red grosgrain ribbon...stampin' dimensionals...snail...distressing tool...fiskar...score-it...and crystal effects.

Doesn't the crystal effects look great in the truck window...and because of the way the lighting is hitting it...it looks like a reflection in there...looks so real...the crows and pumpkins I cut out and used stampin' dimensionals to raise them a little.

All supplies from stampin' up unless otherwise noted.

Thanks so much for dropping by tonight...it's so late and I'm tired...I do love the fact that my son-in-law hooked up the tv to the computer...I can lay in bed and surf till my hearts content...this is really cool...note to self...I must get this kind of hook up when I return home...LOL...I love it...well good night everyone...I hope you all had a stampin' good day.
