A note of thanks

Challenge #14

Over at Cooking it up with Katie for this weeks challenge we had to use:

*something old: my old olive ink.
*something new: my new green glass brad.
*something sweet: what could be sweeter than my Swiss dots folder.

Challenge CDBC4

Over at Clearly Delightful Challenge....we had to use the following in our card or layout:

*dry embossing
*the colour yellow

www.clearlydelightful.typepad.com

This is the sweet and easy card that I came up with.

This is the recipe:

Stamp set: thank you kindly.
*****
Card stock: summer sun...pumpkin pie...assorted scraps...and cream printer paper.
*****
Ink: old olive.
*****
Punches: top note...ticket corner....rounded tab...Swiss dots, autumn type, and frills embossing folders.
*****
Additional supplies: s/u mini dots...snail...big shot...fiskar...score-it...green glass brad...and stampin' dimensionals.

Inside the card I used white printer paper...I also used my embossing border folder to decorate the edge of the paper...another sweet touch that I love to do.

The Swiss dot embossing folder is one of my favorites that I like to use..it gives cards and projects so much dimension.

Thanks so much for droppin' by this morning...I had a lot of fun with this card...I love how it turned out...these were great challenges...and the colours are very cheerful...switch out the thank you and I could make this a get well card...have a great morning...and a stampin' good day.
