You're the best

This card covers two projects...a thank you card for Judy who was our instructor for a workshop we took in Connecticut at the beginning of the month...and the November sketchin' good time.
*****

This is my sketchin' good recipe:
Stamp: you're the best with flowers.
*****
Card stock: autumn harvest...kiwi kiss...melon mambo...crushed curry...Bermuda bay...whisper white...and white printer paper.
*****
Ink: chocolate chip.
*****
Markers: stampin' write.
*****
Punches: thank you folder.
*****
Additional supplies: sticky strip...snail...soft moss sheer dots ribbon...big shot...fiskar...and score-it.

The thank you folder is one of my favorites...it gives a card so much dimension...and how about the pretty ribbon...love it!!!

This cute little sentiment describes how I felt about the workshop...loved it...LOL.

Carol and I did a craft fair this morning so I'm dead tired...but I did want to get this card posted before turning in for the night...we had a great time...we went and set up with no expectations...thinking no one would shop because of the lousy economy...we were so surprised to have done so well...we actually came home with a couple of empty boxes...who knew...LOL...did I say we had a great time...lol...we will be going back next year.
Thanks so much for droppin' in this evening and sharing my card...and my day with me...I hope everyone has a stampin' good evening...I'm off to bed...good night.

Just a note cupcake journal

This morning I altered a journal for cupcake Friday and it turned out very nice...I'm pleased with it...everything came together very quickly.
*****
This is the recipe:
Stamp sets: crazy for cupcakes and just a note sentiment.
*****
Card stock: crushed curry...basic black...very vanilla...and whisper white.
*****
Ink: soft suede.
*****
Markers: stampin' write and clear star glitter pen.
*****
Punches: floral screen folder...2 1/4" scallop square...and top note die.
*****
Additional supplies: xyron...snail...crystal effects...white ribbon...big shot...yellow silver lined beads...red seed beads...black and cream journal.

I like this little scallop square cupcake marker that I made to keep my writing spot.

The cupcake has a lot of seed beads to look like cherries...YUM...and the candle has a larger yellow bead for the flame.

Thanks so much for stopping by this morning and sharing a cupcake with me...enjoy the rest of the morning...I hope you all have a stampin' good day.

Love Birds and Holly

This is the fourth and final card we made in the workshop with Judy...and my absolute fav...I love all the glitter...and the love birds looking at the holly...I just love everything about this card.
*****
This is the quick recipe:
Stamps: blue birds and holly.
*****
Card stock: white...red...and blue.
*****
Ink: tuxedo black.
*****
Markers: Copics...and black glaze pen.
*****
Additional supplies: white rick rack ribbon...glue pen...clear glitter...red line tape...scissors...and snowball embellishments.

The rick rack ribbon started out as plain white...we ran our blue marker over it to give it the same exact colour as the love birds.

This was such a fun and easy card...thanks for droppin' in and sharing it with me...a BIG thanks to Judy for such a fun...fun...fun workshop...we all enjoyed it...I hope everyone has a great morning and a stampin' good day.

Sparkly Snowman

This was a fun card to make...I liked that we stamped the snowman first...then stamped him again...and cut him out...the cut out snowman was layered over the first one and it gave the card wonderful dimension...I especially loved the fact that I didn't have to cut around those tiny stick hands...lol...when we were done with this card we were all covered in lots of glitter.

This is the recipe:

Stamps: cling snowman...and cling textured dots.
*****
Card stock: blue...and white.
*****
Ink: tuxedo black...and white pigment.
*****
Markers: Copics...and black glaze pen.
*****
Additional supplies: cling rocker mount...red line adhesive tape...scissors...bone folder...white snowball ribbon...clear glitter...glue pen...and mounting tape.

I really like the new snowball ribbon...it's some fluff on a wire...we just pulled it apart a little bit then pushed the wire through a hole in the card stock...I added a small amount of glue from my glue pen to hold it firmly in place...a great look and dimension to the card...and the glitter gives the snowman all his sparkle.

Thank you for joining me this morning and sharing my cute sparkly snowman...I hope you all have a great morning...and a stampin' good day.
