...Being A Grandmother Votive

Happy Mothers Day everyone...I hope you are all having a fun and relaxing day...I'm enjoying the morning and thinking of my wonderful mom in heaven...I'm also thinking of how lucky I am to have two beautiful grandchildren...what more could I ask for...I'm lucky enough to have it all.

I had a lot of the votives left over from my daughter's baby shower so I thought I'd use them for another set of quick gifts for the ladies at work who are scheduled to work with me tonight...and they're so quick and easy to make anyway.

This is the easy recipe:

Stamp sets: grandmother and tiny tags.
*****
Card stock: pink stripe DSP and assorted scraps.
*****
Ink: melon mambo.
*****
Punches: extra large decorative label...mini ducks...and jewelry tag.
*****
Additional supplies: pink sorbet bakers twine...snail...acyclic block ....scented votives...s/u small treat bags and mini glue dots.

The tag looks great with the delicious bakers twine...and the colours match perfectly.

I absolutely love the grandmother stamp...I purchased it years ago and had hoped to be able to use it one day...YIPPPPeeee my dream came true.

Thanks so much for stopping by this morning...enjoy the rest of the day...eat...relax and get pampered...and I hope you all have a stampin' good time.

Please remember all the mothers in Japan...Tuscaloosa...Haiti...and all around the world who are not able to enjoy a wonderful mothers day with their children today as we are lucky enough too...if you can please consider making a contribution to Shelterbox.org...it's a wonderful organization that helps people and families of disasters.

Have a happy...wonderful, and relaxing Mothers Day.
