A Double Challenge
Pretty in Ink Challenge #4.
This is the sketch Nichola had for us to use over at pretty in ink...it was fun and easy...just up my alley.
Our Creative Corners Challenge was to use buttons in a project or on a card...I wanted to add some buttons inside also, but the card wouldn't close properly.

Our Creative Corners Challenge was to use buttons in a project or on a card...I wanted to add some buttons inside also, but the card wouldn't close properly.
This is my first gated card and it was a lot of fun...I will be making more of them...I haven't added a sentiment to the card yet because I'm saving it for someone special...and I have a very special sentiment that I'll be adding to it later.
When you open the doors of the card I have printer paper framed with a cutout from my top note die...I have a picket fence with flowers...the flowers were run through the cuttle bug folders to give them dimension.
This is the recipe:
Stamps: bitty bolds.

Card stock: crushed curry...simple scrappin' friends and flowers...assorted scraps...and white printer paper.

Ink: crushed curry.
*****
Punches: Swiss dots...sizzix tulip and picket fence dies...1/16" hand held circle...key tag...and top note die.

Additional supplies: hobby blade...snail...S/U mini glue dots...blue flower brad...big shot...fiskar...score-it...soft moss dot ribbon...real red and yellow twine...red, yellow, and orange buttons.
This is one of my favorite ribbons that I love to use...and below I have an area to write or hand stamp a sentiment.
