Over at Stamp Challenges this week we had to stitch something...it could be real stitching or faux stitching.

Challenge #15

SSNOTIME #134
Over at No Time To Stamp the simple challenge was to make a graduation card or a treat...gift or project for a teacher or student...if no teacher or student in our life we could make a thank you...or retirement card.

RTB #13
For this challenge over at Raise the Bar...we had to Spring For It...flowers...outdoor images...anything that reminds us that spring is here.

This is how I combined my challenges,...I really like how it turned out and was happy that I was able to accomplish it.

This is the lucky 7 recipe:

Stamps: congrats...and Adirondack chair from the Lock hart Stamp Company.
*****
Card stock: pretty in pink...going gray...regal rose...mellow moss...whisper white...tempting turquoise...so saffron...taken with teal...and cream printer paper.
*****
Ink: basic gray and rose red.
*****
Markers: stampin' write and black glaze pen.
*****
Punches: hounds tooth, Swiss dots, distressed stripes folder...2 1/4" scalloped square...rectangles die...1/16" hand held circle...and key tag.
*****
Additional supplies: stampin' dimensionals...s/u mini glue dots(I just recently started using these and I absolutely love them...so! so! sticky)...crystal effects...snail...fiskar...score-it...pink satin ribbon...gold mini brads...pink, yellow, and green mini discs.

Inside the card...I carried over the hounds tooth embossing to the edges of my printer paper.

Here you get a glimpse of a couple of the pink ribbons I used...I can see the retiree sitting outside listening to the birds and sounds of nature on the first day of retirement...mmmmmm...so nice.

The sentiment says "let the relaxation begin...happy retirement".

Whew!!!...that was hard work...but I must admit that I loved doing it...and it was a lot of fun...try all these challenges or just do one...stop by and check out the fabulous work that these ladies have done...you will be as amazed as I was...thank you for droppin' in this morning and sharing my lucky seven...cold! cold! cold! this morning...I hope everyone has a stampin' good day.
