A little birdie told me about a couple of challenges

I'm so proud of this card...took me a little longer to make...but the next one will probably go much faster...I was addicted to this die when I first got it...made lots of caged birds cards to send to friends and family...I feel that addiction creeping up on me again...lol...but I do so love this die...really!

When I go to mail this card I will have to put it in a 5X7 envelope...since with the background it turns out larger than a regular card...the back ground is slightly bent to hold the card up.

On this part of the card I made a little Boo Boo...I was suppose to turn the little bird facing left...I was so busy looking at my original card that I glued it down the wrong way...but it's ok...I still like it...I bent it at the base to make it stand up...and it lays flat when closed.

This is the Fabulously easy recipe:
*****
Card stock: Raspberry Tart DSP...and assorted scraps.
*****
Punches: bitty butterfly...large two step bird...caged bird die...Vivienne butterfly die...and Poteeka birds folder.
*****
Additional supplies: silver eye pins...silver split rings...sticky strip...s/u mini glue dots and snail...big shot...fiskar...and simply scored board.

Pile It On #23 - Use Some Patterned Paper
Over at Pile it On...the challenge or theme is "Use Patterned Paper"...now how easy is that...I'm Totally thrilled...especially since I have tons...and tons of DSP...there is some wonderful inspiration over there...so remember to stop by and check it all out...it's just so beautiful.

Week 215 ~ It's for the Birds!
The Theme this week over at City Crafter is to Make a card or project using a bird!...and of course I had my absolute ...favorite die which I had to use to make this card...I loved the colour of the bird in the inspiration...so I tried to incorporate some of those colours into it also...please make sure to try and stop by the blog and see what gorgeous inspirations the DT Members have to share...while there take a peek at the other entries too.
