Happy Birthday Choo Choo

This is the adorable card I made for my Grandsons birthday...he absolutely loves trains...Choo Choo!

Believe it or not...the most favorite part of the card is the smoke...I don't know why...but I just love it...maybe it's the dimensional look the stickles gives it...I added the stickles...let it dry...then I added it again...I just love it...lol.

This is the easy recipe:

Stamp sets: circus train...warmest regards...and dot alphabet.
*****
Card stock: kraft...assorted scraps...and cream printer.
*****
Ink: midnight muse and brilliant blue.
*****
Markers stampin' write.
*****
Punches: ticket builder and textured impressions stripes.
*****
Additional Supplies: Yellow stickles...silver bells shimmerz...big shot...snail...simply scored...fiskar...and blueberry bakers twine.

Thanks everyone for droppin' by this morning and checking out my kiddie card...it was fun to make it and it was done with a little extra love since it was going to someone extra special...have a great morning...enjoy the wonderful weather...and I hope you all have a stampin' good time.

Howdy Cowboy

Carol luvs...luvs...luvs this little cowboy...It's a retired set from the Stampin Up summer 2006 mini catty...I must admit that he is cute.
She stamped him with Chocolate Chip Ink, and the
sheriffs badges in the background are stamped with More Mustard...on the tag she used the Chocolate Chip again to stamp Howdy and a Signo Gel Pen to do the stitches...finishing off the tag with a Natural Hemp Twine...she also used the Spritzer tool to spritz the background of the card with close to cocoa ink...she used Old Olive, Very Vanilla, Close to Cocoa, and Regal Rose card stock...her little cowboy was coloured with an assortment of coloured pencils...all supplies used are from Stampin' Up...she said this was a very quick card to do and lots of fun...very cute Carol...we do love him.

I think Carol will fall in love with the new set Bronc Buster and Wanted...look at the other goodies that go with the set too...the wheels...the card stock...the papers...hey I think she should give her wish list to her DH right away...LOL.

Ahoy Matey's

What a great set to use for a childs birthday party...for an invitation or a card and then preserve the memories on a matching scrap book page...what little boy wouldn't like this for his birthday party...great idea Carol...we love this one.

The stamp sets used are Ahoy Matey and Headline Alphabets...Whisper White, Real Red, Old Olive, Night of Navy, and Creamy Caramel card stock was used...Basic Black and Versa Mark ink pads...assorted coloured pencils...Natural Twine...gold brads and red Gingham ribbon ...all products are by stampin' up...navy blue ribbon was purchased at AC Moore.
It doesn't show up in the photo, but the top of the scrap page has the word "Pirate" and it is printed with the Headline Alphabet stamps using the versa mark ink pad...the scrap page is now ready for those precious photo's...what a fun project.
