Bee Joyful

This is sketch challenge #2 over at Nicola's blog...drop in and give it a try...it's another quick and easy project...I had fun with it again this week...Nicola will have a sample of her work up soon...she is having issues with her computer connection and we all know what that is like.

This is what I came up with for Nicola's sketch this week...I really like how it turned out.

I like how the Buzzzzzz sentiment looks as if it's written on a chalk board...it's only a piece of black card stock and whisper white craft ink.

This is my quick recipe:
Stamps: sentiments from MSE.
*****
Card stock: assorted scraps and cream printer paper.
*****
Inks: dusty durango and whisper white craft ink.
*****
Punches: 2 1/4" scallop square and 1/16" hand held circle.
*****
Additional supplies: snail...1/2" foam mounting tape...small and large flower brads...black twine...yellow paper clip...fiskar cutter...and score-it board.

I love how the paper clip is holding up the Buzzzzzz sentiment...this is a great all occasion card...I will be using it for a get well card...it's bright and colourful...I hope it will cheer someone up.

Thanks for Buzzzzzzzzin' by this afternoon...I hope you all have a stampin' good day.

Don't forget to Buzz by Nicola's blog and check out her sample.

It's super cute Beverley!
I love the bee theme! The buzzzz sentiment looks fantastic in the chalk board effect, and I love that the paper clip is holding it!
I originally designed the sketch for one of my fun paper clips, but I could'nt find it when I came to do my card! It's great to see that you have used one!
Thanks for entering your bright and cheery card into this weeks sketch challenge! you did a great job!
