Welcome

Challenge #88
Don't be a square.
Over at Cupcake Craft Challenge this week we weren't allowed to make any square cards.

Week #7
This weeks inspiration over at The Shabby Tearoom was this linen closet...which was to remind us of the comforts of home.

Challenge #62
These are the colours of the week over at Copic Colour Challenge...seems like spring to me.

Here is my take on the challenges...as you can see...no square card here.

I like the forest branches folder...it gives the background of the card a look of old wood.

This is the recipe:

Stamp sets: warm words and birdhouse.
*****
Card stock: cream...barely banana...old olive...rich razzleberry...pale plum...assorted scraps...and cream printer paper.
*****
Ink: soft suede and memento rich cocoa.
*****
Markers: B00 frost blue...B66 clematis...YG17 grass green...E15 dark suntan...E04 lipstick natural...G82 spring dim green...Y15 cadmium yellow...R29 lipstick red...Rv04 shock pink...O colourless blender...and sakura clear star glitter pen.
*****
Punches: wide oval...scallop oval...forest branches folder...1/4" and 1/16" hand held circles.
*****
Additional supplies: s/u mini glue dots...the robins nest grapes and leaves dd...crystal effects...1/2" mounting foam...sticky strip...big shot...fiskar...brass jump rings...light green seed beads...and soft moss sheer dot ribbon.

Here I made my welcome sign using a couple of jewelry jump rings and I attached a couple of tiny seed beads too...I'm not sure if you can see them...they are so small...I used them to stop the jump rings from spinning around.

Thanks for droppin' by this morning and sharing these wonderful challenges with me...I had a great time with them this week...stop by and try them yourselves...see what you can come up with...it's lots of fun...enjoy the rest of the morning...have a great weekend...I hope you all have a stampin' good day.
