ORMC Moving Day

It was moving this morning...and ORMC which is the first new hospital built in New York state in over twenty years made the BIGGEST move in record time and without even a hiccup.

The sight of so many ambulances parked out front at the entrance was a sight to behold and breath taking at the same time...I have never seen anything like it in my life...and probably never will again.

The end of the first hour most of the ambulances were on their way to the new ORMC...which was less than ten minutes away.

Every patient in both campuses were moved safely...and the transfers were way ahead of schedule by almost four hours...by the end of the day both campuses will be closed down...and the new ORMC will be up and running...and will be open for business.

This was our first little patient to be moved...only a few hours old and she had no idea that she was now part of history...she's so tiny that you can barely see her in the car seat on top of the stretcher.

This last morning in our old building was bittersweet...but we are all moving forward to bigger and better things...To all my coworkers...thanks for the memories...and here's to new memories in our new building...thanks for droppin' by this morning everyone...I hope you all have a stampin' good time.
