With Sympathy and An Anything Goes Challenge

I think this is the favorite of all the cards I've ever made...at least for this week it is...lol...it's sad when you have to make a sympathy card...but I wanted this one to look especially pretty.

I taped down the doily and the hand cut pennant to my card stock...then ran the card stock in the embossing folder through the big shot...so everything has the honeycomb design.

The mini dew drops add  just the right amount of bling...I was going to add a bow to the bakers twine...but at the last minute changed my mind...I'm glad I left that out.

This card I put the butterfly in the lower right hand corner...the bitty butterfly is a printed card stock scrap.

This card has the butterfly in the upper right hand corner...and I kept the butterfly in the solid card stocks.

Here is the recipe:

Stamp set: teeny tiny wishes...and pattern craze.
*****
Card stock: brocade blue...blue bayou DSP...whisper white...white printer paper...and a white paper doily.
*****
Ink: brocade blue and midnight muse.
*****
Punches: elegant and bitty butterfly...and honeycomb textured impressions folder.
*****
Additional supplies: blueberry bakers twine...water mini dew drops...crystal effects...snail...sticky strip...stampin' dimensionals...s/u acrylic block...big shot...simply scored plate...and fiskar cutters.

Thanks so much for stoppin' by this morning and sharing this card with me...I'm going to be going through my card stocks and DSP this morning...so I better get started...have a great day...and I hope you all have a stampin' good time.

Beverly,

Love your choice of papers, the embossing folder and octagon die cuts. I agree better without the bow. Thanks for joining us this week at Through The Craftroom Door and good luck!
