God Grant Me...and a couple of Dazzling Challenges

I absolutely love these cards...so simple...but the impact is a WOW!...I entered it in two challenges this week.

 

 

 

The honeycomb folder gives the card a lot of depth...it's one of my fav folders from Stampin' Up.

 

 

Stampin' Up doesn't have this stamp anymore...at least I haven't seen it in the catalog...so happy that I got it when they came out with it. 

 

 

 

I printed the sentiment on my computer...I would love to find a stamp that has this sentiment on it...then I would be able to colour coordinate with my card stock.

With Sympathy and An Anything Goes Challenge

I think this is the favorite of all the cards I've ever made...at least for this week it is...lol...it's sad when you have to make a sympathy card...but I wanted this one to look especially pretty.

I taped down the doily and the hand cut pennant to my card stock...then ran the card stock in the embossing folder through the big shot...so everything has the honeycomb design.

The mini dew drops add  just the right amount of bling...I was going to add a bow to the bakers twine...but at the last minute changed my mind...I'm glad I left that out.

 This card I put the butterfly in the lower right hand corner...the bitty butterfly is a printed card stock scrap.

This card has the butterfly in the upper right hand corner...and I kept the butterfly in the solid card stocks.

So Sorry and A ODBD Challenge

I've been up since 2am...so I decided to make good use of my time and make this card for a dear friend that just lost her beloved pet dog after a very short illness...it was unexpected...she and her family are devastated by the loss.

This is the inside of the card...it say's "for the loss of your beloved pet"...I really like it.

I absolutely love the new Smokey Slate colour...this colour is going to be a big fav of mine...and I will be using it a lot.

With Sympathy

 Carol has been on the roll this week...and she is closing the week for me with another lovely creation.

 These lovely sympathy cards can also be used as get well cards...so easy to just switch out the sentiment and replace with a get well one.

I can see these cards with a get well sentiment in the scallop ovals too.

 The flowers Carol used are die cuts...which makes these cards so quick and easy since no cutting out by hand...stampin' dimensionals to lift some of the flowers off the card stock for added dimension ...the card stock has been run through her big shot with an embossing folder...giving the card even more added dimension.

 Brrrrrrrr!!!...what a cold morning...I hope by the time I'm ready to go out it will be a tad bit warmer...lol...Thanks Carol for ending this week on a great note with such a pretty card...Thank you all for stoppin' by this morning and sharing another card with me...enjoy your weekend...and I hope everyone has a stampin' good time.

Sympathy

A time comes when we don't want to do it...but we have to make a sympathy card...I had to make this one for a co-worker who's dad pass away this week.

If you change out the sentiment on this card it would also make a nice birthday or even a get well card...make a bunch in card fronts so that you have them on hand ready to go.

Flowers in a Mason Jar-2

Here is another set of cards my stampin' ladies made in class last week...I just love this colour combo...isn't it eye catching...and that butterscotch ribbon is to die for...I will be soooooo! sad when I finally use up the last piece...my stampin' ladies loved them too.



Check out my new addiction...the little tags using cell phone bling...the bling on these tags are tiny square pearls...lately I have been adding those tags to everything...it's a great way to use up those small pieces of scrap that's too small to do anything else with...but I hate to throw them away.

I made this card today for a friend who's mom has just passed away.


I love that I used some pretty card stock that a friend had used on a gift as the back ground to this card...I never waste anything if I can help it...lol...I cut out the fence and added it to the card stock.
