Y...is for Yuzaki

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month...don't forget to schedule your annual mammogram...early detection is the key to surviving breast cancer.

This card isn't spooky as much as it is fun...in fact the only scary part of it is when you read the BOO!...lol...and it sure was fun to put together...I rubbed stampin' pastels over the white parts of the subway art to give it a bit of colour...it's not a lot...just enough I think...and I love it.

 The Y is for My little Yuzaki...I think he will love this Halloweenie card...I know that I do...lol.

This is the little device I used on the back of the pumpkin to give it some movement...they're Action Wobbles.

I can't seem to get this song outta my head this morning..."these boots are made for walkin' and that's just what they'll do...one of these day's these boots are going to walk all over you...dadadada"...LOL!

I love this candy corn ribbon...it has just enough bling to it...and I love candy corn...YUM!

Don't you just love the broom...I made it using the owl punch.

I love this cool sentiment...makes me want to shake my Boo-tay...lol...Dadadada...there it goes in my head again.

Best Witches Boots-Happy Birthday

This witch has style with her Christian Louboutin Shoes...can you see the red soles...yeppers she sure does have expensive style...lol...the boots were stamped on plain card stock...then run through the spiderweb folder so that I could turn one of them in the opposite direction...it worked out great...I love the look.

The sentiment is from Best Witches that retired many! many! years ago...but I really love that set...there's not too many Halloween sets that I really like but this one is my absolute favorite.

Shake Your Booty Birthday

 I'm sharing another set we made at class last week from the fabulous Bootiful Occasion stamp set...I love this set with those adorable boots that can be used for so many different occasions...here is a Halloween Birthday card and the bonus gift tag...a very cute set to give to someone who is celebrating a Birthday on Halloween.

 I love the spider web embossing on the background of the card...and wouldn't you want to add those cool boots to your wardrobe...lol...one of the stampin' ladies didn't like the bakers twine on the boots...so she left hers off...it still looked very nice.

Tina's Scrapbook Page

 This scrappin' page is from another...one of my ladies...she decided to do both 12X12 pages with two different themes...but both show the different times in her daughters wonderful and fun filled life. 

 On one page we have different Halloween pics and  the second page shows the christening and communion of her daughter...I love the cross in the center of the page...the pages were sprayed with Frosty Nights and Mistletoe Glimmer Mists...it gives the pages a slight glittery look...I think you can see it a little better on the green page...I'm all for bling...lol.

This is the second project I made with the stampin' ladies in class...a spooky treat box...it can be stuffed with yummy chocolates or whatever your favorite treats might be.

This is my recipe:

Stamp set: all holidays.

Punches: spider web folder...scallop edge border...word window...hand held 1/16" circle...scallop oval extra large...and 1" circle.

Additional supplies: black brads...sticky strip...snail...big shot...fiskar...score-it...mini glue dots...black and white gingham ribbon.

This project can be easily changed for a birthday or any special occasion...very quick and easy to make.

Boo

We had a great time last night in our first class for the year...munchies, drinks, stampin', chatting...goodie bags to take home and play with...but mostly great friends getting together for some much needed down time...it was absolutely great...thank you ladies...I know I had a great time.

This was the first of the of the projects we made...a spooky Halloween card...it was so quick and easy...it literally took only ten minutes to make.



This is the recipe:

Stamps: tiny tags and S/A spooky spider wheel.

Punches: jewelry tag...designer label...and spider web folder.
*****Additional supplies: basic black grosgrain ribbon...S/A wheel guide and s/a handle...silver eye pin...s/u silver cording...snail...fiskar...score-it...clear block.



Inside the card I added the spider web embossing to a corner of the paper...I still have plenty of room to write my sentiment.

The little eye pin remind me of the old fashion hat pins...I don't remember where I got them...I wanted to pick up another package but I couldn't find them in any of my local craft stores.

This was a fun card...thanks again ladies for such a fun evening...here's hoping to many...many more.

Have a wicked Halloween

I have a few cards to share this week from the workshop I attended with my upline Debby...I had a great time.



The supplies used are: wicked cool stamp set...pumpkin pie, wild wasabi, rich razzleberry, whisper white, and basic black card stock...1 1/4", 1", bitty bat large punches...square lattice and spider web folders...pumpkin pie grosgrain ribbon, stampin' dimensionals, big shot machine, and snail adhesive.

I have to say that I really enjoyed this workshop with Debby...and what a wonderful group of women she has in her classes...thanks Deb for allowing me to share the evening with all of you...it was a great night...thanks again.

Sushi Chef and Sous Assitant...Happy Halloween

I have a few October projects to finish up posting this week...where did this month go...it seems like I had so much to do...I hope you don't mind, but I must share one more Halloween pic of my grandson...I can't stand it...he looks so cute...LOL...at the last minute there was a costume change...Kenzo was originally going to be a lobster sushi...with my grandson deciding how to cook him...YUKKO...LOL.

Instead this is the new costume for the parade...the Sushi Master and his Sous Chef...LOL...I love it...but I still think Kenzo wasn't too happy being dressed up...even though he went with the game...LOL...poor Kenzo must be thinking...I'm a dog...not a chef...I don't cook...I just eat...LOL.

My grandson has his sushi knife ready to go and a plate of sushi that he is tasting and thinking YUMMO!!! this is delish...my daughter and son-in-law did a great job with the Sushi Bar and the props...everything looks sooooooo!!! real...especially that knife and plate of sushi...they had fun at the parade and at the party later that evening...GREAT job guys...that was absolutely wonderful...I loved it.
