Hello Banner Card

This was one of the cards we made for the new catty open house a couple of months ago...we can make lots of these and just swap out the sentiments for one that best suits the occasion...my stampin' ladies loved it since it was so quick and easy.

I love the fact that this card shows all the new in-colours...and it was so easy to make...plus all I have to do when I make more is swap out the sentiment for one that fits the occasion.

This is my very easy recipe:

Stamp set: pennant parade.
*****
Card stock: summer starfruit...gumball green...midnight muse...primrose petals...raspberry ripple...crumb cake...and white printer paper.
*****
Ink: summer starfruit...gumball green...midnight muse...primrose petals...and raspberry ripple.
*****
Punches: petite pennants and word window.
*****
Additional supplies: crystal effects...snail...big shot...acrylic blocks...clear acrylic discs...fiskar...and score-it.

Thanks to my stampin' ladies for a wonderful class...and thanks to everyone for droppin' by this morning...enjoy the last of this weekend...I sure am having a great day...and I hope you all have a stampin' good time.

Hello...Banner Card

I am so happy that the card pics turned out a lot better than my Catty Party pics...I take the worst pics in the world...lol...I don't think there's anyone out there that takes worst pics than me...lol.
Here is one of the cards the ladies picked to make at the catty party last week...it incorporated all the new in-colours...I loved it because it is so very simple and easy to make...and took very little time.

This is a simple...but such an easy design...the card didn't take long to make at all...this card could be reproduced using all your scraps...what a pretty card that would be...and they could all be different in their own way.

 This is the easy recipe:

Stamp set: pennant parade.
*****
Card stock: Kraft...summer starfruit...gumball green...midnight muse...primrose petals...and raspberry ripple.
*****
Ink: summer starfruit...gumball green...midnight muse...primrose petals...and raspberry ripples.
*****
Punches: petite parade and word window.
*****
Additional supplies: snail...big shot...crystal effects...fiskar...score-it...and clear acrylic blocks.

Thanks ladies for a fun evening...I hope you loved your cards/projects...I'm glad you all enjoyed the new catty...so many stamps, such little time...it seems as if the goodies get better and better every year...lol...thanks for stoppin' by this morning...I hope you all had fun checking out my card...enjoy the rest of the morning and may everyone have a stampin' good time.

New Catty Partaaaaaay!!!

I'm so disappointed that these pics came out so lousy...and I had already taken everything down so I didn't get a chance to retake them.
I had everything set up for the ladies to do some stamping at the new catty open house party...I also had a couple of fun surprises for them...we all love surprises.

Here are the first of the two projects for the ladies to work on.

Here is another set of projects for the ladies to work on.

Below are all the new catty goodies we will be playing with this year...I can't wait.

The new catty's are ready to roll...and to go home with their new owners.

A couple more projects for the ladies to play with.

Tomorrow I will share the cards we made...hopefully they will turn out better than these pics did....thanks for stoppin' by this morning...I hope you enjoy your day...and have a stampin' good time.

Peace Ornament

This was a wonderful project to make...it was quick and easy...and also a great way to use up some scrap papers...a very sweet gift...this was the bonus project that I had for the stampin' ladies to make and it was a big hit with them...they loved it as much as I did...yeeeehhh!!!...what a great way to end the last workshop of the year.

This is the limited recipe:

Card stock: Deck the Halls DSP and Christmas magic rubons.
*****
Additional supplies: 80mm clear glass ball ornament...fiskar cutter...burgundy and gold wire edge ribbon.

Here is the same ornament but instead of using the white rubons I used the red/green that says Merry Christmas...a little bit harder to see with the red and green DSP strips.

Thanks to my stampin' ladies for sharing this last workshop of the year with me and for a fantastic evening...you all did a great job on the cards and project...thanks everyone for stoppin' by this evening...enjoy the rest of the night and I hope you all have a stampin' good time.

The Christmas Door

This is the third and last card the stampin' ladies made on Thursday evening...it's suppose to look like a door with a wreath hanging from it by ribbon...I would suggest if this card is to be mailed I wouldn't use the glass gem as a door knob...it is better to stamp a circle out of card stock...the glass gem makes it very heavy and possibly expensive to mail...the ladies did the sample with the glass gem and the rest they were going to mail had a card stock door knob...and it still looked fantastic...great job ladies.

This is the recipe:

Stamp set: Bells and Boughs.
*****
Card stock: cream...always artichoke...summer sun...and Deck the Halls DSP.
*****
Ink: always artichoke...more mustard...and chocolate chip.
*****
Punches: 2 3/4" circle...scallop circle...sizzix rectangle...mini leaf and flower punches.
*****
Additional supplies: lilac glass gem...red/amber rhinestones...crystal effects...snail...s/u mini glue dots...big shot...fiskar...and ridinghood red striped grosgrain ribbon.

Again...I've added the Christmas Blessing to the inside of this card.

I hope everyone is enjoying the wonderful weekend...thanks for droppin' by this morning...have a great day and a stampin' good time.

*****

*****

*****
Additional supplies: stampin' pastels...snail...big shot and score-it.

Happy Fall mini banner in a tin

This was a great project and not much stampin' was involved...the stampin' ladies loved it as much as I did...not very quick...but easy and fun to make...tomorrow I will share how one of the ladies put this fun project to use for herself...it is great.

This is the fun recipe:

Card stock: chocolate chip...pumpkin pie...summer sun...and Autumn Traditions DSP.
*****
Ink: purely pomegranate.
*****
Punches: scallop circle...1 3/8" circle...sizzix lower case alpha...assorted mini leaf punches.
*****
Additional supplies: round favor tins...acrylic leaf...s/u mini glue dots...snail...and yellow ribbon.

The tin is so cute with the clear acrylic leaf on it...it's my favorite part of this project.

Thanks for droppin' in this morning and sharing this fun project with me...enjoy the rest of the day...it's snowing a little this morning...a few delays I heard on the radio...it's freezin' and windy too...time for a cup of hot tea...and I hope everyone has a stampin' good time.

*****

Pumpkin Thank You

Even though I've stamped every day...I've been hard pressed for time to post all my projects and cards...well I'm going to try and get caught up this week...I don't want the new year to arrive and here I am posting thanksgiving and fall projects.

This is one of the cards the stampin' ladies made in class...waaaaay back in November.

This is the quick recipe:

Stamp set: thank you kindly.
*****
Card stock: tangerine tango...confetti cream...crushed curry...and cream printer paper.
*****
Ink: tangerine tango.
*****
Punches: pumpkin harvest folder...decorative label...and organic flourish border folder.
*****
Additional supplies: copper penny ribbon...wood pumpkin...s/u mini glue dots...big shot...score-it...fiskar...snail...and sunflower dew drops.

For this card you could substitute the wood pumpkin for a card stock pumpkin to make it a little lighter if you were going to mail it.

Inside I used my Organic border folder to emboss the printer paper...I couldn't resist enlarging my watermark since it was very similar to the embossing.

Thanks for hanging in there and droppin' by this morning...I made this quick so that I can get to work uploading the rest of the projects to post this week...enjoy the rest of this cold...raining...windy morning...and I hope you all have a stampin' good time...have a great weekend.
